Brian Sneyd - Director
Brian Sneyd established Bentley IFA in 1990.
Prior to this he was in a partnership as a Financial Adviser and before that he worked for one of the large providers also advising.
In all he has been in the industry for over 45 years. During this time, he has accumulated experience in all aspects of financial services.
During his career he obtained the qualification available at that time MLIA(Dip), a Member of the Life Insurance Association which became an acceptable qualification by the FSA when it came into being and prior to this Bentley IFA was registered with FIMBRA/LAUTRO from 1988-1994, PIA from 1994-2001 until becoming registered with the FSA, which in April 2013 became the FCA and PRA Authorities.

Sam Sneyd - Director Chartered MCSI, DIP Financial Advisor
Sam Sneyd has worked in the Financial Services for over 15 years and joined the family business after working at Brewin Dolphin for 2 and half years as an Investment Manager.
Sam previously spent six years as an assistant vice president with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management.
He is Diploma qualified, which is a high quality, FCA- approved programme that meets the qualification standard for a financial advisor.
He advises on the full spectrum of financial services. Sam gained a degree with honours in Accounting and Management from Cardiff University.
He qualified in 2008 as a member of the Institute for Securities and Investment.

Charlie Lenton - Director Chartered Financial Planner
Charlie is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, with over 20 years experience in Financial Services.
She is a holistic Financial Planner and provides advice in all areas with a particular interest in Inheritance Tax planning, Pensions and Medical Professionals.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, walking the tearaway terriers and competing horses.

Zona Hannington - Para Planner
Zona brings a wealth of experience in financial services having worked in the industry for 17 years, specialising in pensions and investments which will be a great asset to the company.
She has achieved financial service qualifications throughout this time and is currently working towards the Diploma in Regulatory Financial Planning.
Zona enjoys keeping fit, cycling and running and socialising in her free time. She likes to be busy!

Grace Hayward – Office Manager
Grace joined us in January 2017. She provides valuable administrative support, ensures the smooth running of the office and guarantees our clients experience a smooth, efficient and personalised service.
Grace also assists Sam in compliance issues and Data Protection. Grace obtained a law degree before venturing into the world of hospitality management.
Grace has always worked within a customer focused role with previous experience in the finance and consultancy sectors.

Andrea Thompson - Office Administrator
Andrea has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, bringing valuable administrative support to the business.
She has experience dealing within a busy call centre giving her an overall view in all aspects of the financial services.
Andrea brings many skills to the firm and works in an organised and professional manner, always complying with data protection legislation and customer confidentiality.
She will continue to provide an excellent customer service to our clients.

Dan Austin
Dan is the newest member of the team.
He has an honours degree in Business Management & Marketing.
He is Diploma qualified, which is a high quality, FCA- approved programme that meets the qualification standard for a financial advisor.
In his spare time he plays rugby and golf, and has two Labradors that like to keep him busy.
